Photo & video, pinned to place and time
See what's happening.
Right where it happens.
hey vidi! turns the map into a living feed of real moments. Capture a photo or video and it's pinned to exactly where and when you took it. Open the map to see what's happening around you — or rewind time to see what a place looked like months or years ago.
Free on iPhone. Android is on its way.

What is hey vidi?
A witness to the world, one place and moment at a time.
Most photos and posts lose their context the moment they're shared. hey vidi! keeps it. Every moment carries the place and the time it was captured, so instead of an endless feed of context-free clips you get a map that tells you what's happening where — not just what went viral.
People capture photos and videos on the ground, pinned to the exact spot and second they happened, and explore them together on a live map. Each recording becomes a small piece of the record of a place, surfaced and vetted by the community that was there to see it.
How it works
Three taps from “look at this” to on the map.
- 1
Capture
Point and shoot. Snap a photo or roll video and hey vidi! tags the exact place and time for you — no captions, no filters, no setup.
- 2
Share
Your moment drops onto the map right where you stood. Add a description or tag friends if you like, or just let it speak for itself.
- 3
Explore
Pan the map, search a place, or drag the time slider from years ago to right now. Tap any pin to watch, react, follow, or report.

Capture
Ready the moment something happens.
The app opens straight to the camera. Snap a photo or roll video, and the where and when are stamped for you — no typing, no choosing a location, no staging. Your original is saved to your device untouched, and the moment drops onto the map right where you stood.
- Photo or video, with a single tap
- Location and time attached automatically
- Every capture saved to your camera roll, untouched
- Add a description, tag friends, or overlay text — optional
What you can do
Built around place and time, not the algorithm.
Capture in a tap
Photo or video, ready the moment something happens. Location and time are attached automatically.
Explore the live map
Pan and zoom a map dotted with real moments, with hot spots that show where things are happening right now.
Rewind time
Drag the time slider to travel from a decade ago to this minute and see what a place looked like then.
Discover what's nearby
Search any city, venue, or street and see the moments people have captured there — before you go.
Follow and connect
Follow the people whose moments you love, comment, tag friends, and message them directly.
Vote on what matters
Upvote the moments worth seeing so the best rise to the top — and reliable contributors earn credibility.

Trust
A community you can trust.
Upvotes lift the moments that matter, and a credibility score grows as the community values what you share. Anyone can flag content with one tap. Moderation adjusts credibility on both sides, so false reports and bad actors both lose standing over time — and the map stays authentic.
Pinned to place & time
Every recording carries where and when it was captured.
Surfaced by the crowd
Up-votes decide what's worth seeing, not an ad-driven feed.
Kept honest
One-tap reporting and credibility that rewards getting it right.
Great for
Anywhere something is happening.
See what's really going on at an event or venue before you go. Document your neighborhood, your travels, and the everyday. Follow the pulse of a place in real time.

Concerts
The drop, the crowd, the encore.

Game day
Tailgate to final whistle.

Road trips
Every stop on the way.

Weddings
The vows, the toasts, the first dance.

Graduations
The walk, the cap toss, the tears.

Birthdays
The candles, the wish, the mess.
You choose what to capture and share.
Your location is used to place your moment on the map, and posts can be made private. Report anything that doesn't belong with a single tap; moderation reviews flagged content, and repeat offenders lose credibility.
