Terms of Use (EULA)

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and hey vidi! covering the hey vidi! website (heyvidi.com) and the iOS and Android apps. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use hey vidi!.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abuse

hey vidi! has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You may not post, upload, message, or comment with content that:

• harasses, bullies, threatens, or defames anyone;
• is sexually explicit, or sexualizes or endangers minors in any way;
• depicts or promotes illegal activity or graphic violence;
• is hateful toward a person or group based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar characteristics;
• is spam, deceptive, or impersonates another person; or
• violates anyone's privacy or intellectual-property rights.

Content that breaks these rules is removed, and accounts that post it are ejected from the service. We review every report and act on objectionable content within 24 hours of it being reported — removing the content and, where warranted, banning the user who posted it.

Reporting and blocking

Every post and comment can be reported from within the app (the flag or "Report" action). You can also block any user: blocking immediately hides all of their content from your feeds, prevents them from messaging you, and notifies our moderation team so the account can be reviewed. Manage blocked users from Profile → Blocked users.

Your account

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use hey vidi!. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, attempt to evade moderation, or abuse the reporting system.

Your content

You keep ownership of the photos and videos you post. By posting, you grant hey vidi! a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content within the service so it can be shown on the map, in feeds, and in shares you initiate. Public posts include their capture location and time — do not post from places you want to keep private. You can delete your content at any time, and moderation may remove content that violates these terms.

Acceptable use

Do not interfere with or disrupt the service, probe or attack our infrastructure, scrape content at scale, or attempt to access other users' accounts or non-public data. Upload limits, clip length limits, and credibility scoring exist to keep the service healthy; do not attempt to circumvent them.

Disclaimers

hey vidi! is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Content on the service is posted by users and does not represent our views; we are not liable for it, though we moderate as described above. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability arising out of these terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the past twelve months (zero for a free service).

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
